PhD student participates in the Bank of Canada PIVOT program
Friday, September 27, 2019 John Baker, an Economics PhD student, was the recipient of one of the grants from the Bank of Canada for their PIVOT program. John used search-query data to process the impact of policy measures on household spending in real-time. J-P Lam helped supervise some of his work.

Associate Professor Kate Rybczynski wins Gender Equity Grant
Wednesday, July 17, 2019 Congratulations to Associate Professor Kate Rybczynski, who has been awarded a Waterloo Gender Equity Grant, as part of the He for She campaign. PhD student Annie Pan will be working on the project with Professor Rybczynski.
